Sears Back To School

OBJECTIVE:

Increase sales of Levi’s and Dockers brand meRchandise at Sears during the Back-to-School promotion period.

DRILL-DOWN:

Sears’ customers were offered a $10.00 Pizza Hut Gift Certificate with Levi’s and/or Dockers purchases during the Back-to-School sale period. Cross merchandising was utilized via coupons placed on 18,000,000 Pizza Hut box tops, which were valid for $5.00 off a Levi’s and/or Dockers purchase at Sears. Over 100,000,000 Sears’ customers were exposed to the promotion.

RESULTS:

Levi’s and Dockers brand merchandise sales increased 20% at Sears during the Back-to-School promotion.
